Divani Collection is one of the leading industry companies in Greece with almost 50 years of presence in the field of tourism. The company owns and operates seven properties throughout Greece.

Below is a brief overview of the history of Divanis Chain Hotels:

• 1960 Creation of Divani Meteora.
• 1963 Extension to Divani Meteora.
• 1974 Creation of Divani Palace Larissa.
• 1976 Creation of Divani Palace Acropolis.
• 1979 Take over of Hotel Nina Palace in Athens and name change to Divani Zafolia Alexandras.
• 1980 Acquisition of Corfu Kanoni in Corfu and name change to Divani Corfu Palace.
• 1986 Extension of Divani Acropolis and withdrawal from Divani Zafolia Alexandras.
• 1993 Acquisition of Caravel.
• 1994 - 1997 First phase of renovation in Divani Caravel.
• 1997 - 2001 Second phase of renovation in Divani Caravel.
• 1998 Acquisition of Apollon Palace - Renovation and opening of the Hotel in July 1999.
• 1999 Complete renovation of Divani Corfu Palace.
• 2001 Complete renovation of Divani Palace Acropolis.
• 2002 Divani Apollon Palace becomes a Member of the Leading Hotels of the World.
• July 2002 Creation of congress hall "Aristotelis Divanis" in the Hotel Divani Apollon Palace & Spa with a total capacity of 1,200 persons.
• April 2003 Complete renovation of Divani Meteora and expansion with Congress Hall facilitiesfor 1000 guests and creation of gym and Spa facilities as well. 
• 2003 Creation of a 3,500 m² Spa & Thalassotherapy Centre in Divani Apollon Palace.
• 2004 Divani Caravel becomes a Member of the Leading Hotels of the World.
• 2004 Divani Athens Spa & Thalasso Centre becomes a Member of Leading Spas.
• September 2005 Divani Caravel and Divani Apollon Palace & Spa received the luxury Diamond Awars from the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences.
• October 2005 Complete renovation of Divani Palace Larissa with addition of congress hall for 700 guests as well as Spa centre facilities.
• June 2006 Acquisition of hotel Sunrise in Vouliagmeni, Athens. (Next to Divani Apollon Palace & Spa )
• May 2007 Operation of Sunrise as 5* hotel and renamed Apollon Suites.
• April 2008 Change of logos and name of company to Divani Collection
• May 2008 openning of The Peak Health Club and SPA in Divani Caravel
• March 2009 full restoration of a whole wing at Divani Palace Acropolis. Brand new rooms with all the latest amenities
